Appalachian Forest School is an outdoor immersion program for children ages three to five, operating from the end of August to early May. We believe in inquiry-based, interest-led learning. Curriculum flows naturally based on the season and the interest of the children. Check out this video to see what a year at AFS looks like!

Contact us for information regarding enrollment and tuition rates or if you are interested in mid-year enrollment. Most families enroll for the entire school year, so spring openings are not guaranteed, but do become available periodically.
